This is a very hard to find Royal Doulton Kingsware Modelled Head “The Coachman” Whiskey Decanter / Jug with nice colors and dark rich Kingsware glaze. This was produced in a small size and in this large 10″ size.

A must have for serious Royal Doulton and Kingsware collectors.
Approx. 10 inches tall and approx. 5 1/4 inches wide.

Very good used antique condition with no cracks or repairs. There are a couple of small nibbles on his right cuff, as shown in the photos. There is crazing consistent with age. Please see all photos for condition. Photos taken with a high resolution camera under bright light.

Royal Doulton Kingsware Modelled Head “The Coachman” Whiskey Decanter / Jug

This is a very hard to find Royal Doulton Kingsware Modelled Head “The Coachman” Whiskey Decanter / Jug with nice colors and dark rich Kingsware glaze. This was produced in a small size and in this large 10″ size.

A must have for serious Royal Doulton and Kingsware collectors.
Approx. 10 inches tall and approx. 5 1/4 inches wide.

Very good used antique condition with no cracks or repairs. There are a couple of small nibbles on his right cuff, as shown in the photos. There is crazing consistent with age. Please see all photos for condition. Photos taken with a high resolution camera under bright light.

This beautiful piece of Royal Doulton is hard to find and sought after by Kingware collectors.

Kingsware was developed by Charles Noke and produced between 1898 and 1939. No other factory in the world has been able to recreate the same lustrous finish. The rich, brown affects of the Kingsware glaze were achieved by painting the design in colored slip on the inside of the plaster mold, then the dark slip was added to the body.

  • We do not have manufacturer’s original boxes or certificates for most of the items we sell. Our inventory consists of discontinued collectibles and antiques that we purchase from collectors. These items normally do not come to us in the manufactures original box. Requests for manufactures boxes will be fulfilled when possible.
  • We will always get your order out the door as quickly as possible, although during holidays or awseome web sales it may take us up to 5 business days to process and ship your order. Tracking information will be sent by email.
  • We ship with USPS and Fedex, whichever offers the best rates for your delivery and we pass the savings onto you. We will decide which carrier to use on all orders that receive free shipping.
  • Express shipping options are available from both carriers.
  • Some pieces are too large or fragile to ship by normal methods. We will work with you to determine the best delivery method, which may include but not limited to hand delivery, or delivery by freight company on a pallet.
  • We are required to collect 5.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to the State of Virginia.
  • INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Customers shipping orders to destinations outside the United States are responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and fees in addition to adhering to all applicable customs laws and restrictions associated with the import of products into that country from the United States.
