Royal Doulton Lambeth 1884 Painted CARTOUCHE Vase by Hannah & Lucy Barlow & Simmance

This is a beautiful and rare Royal Doulton Lambeth Painted CARTOUCHE Vase signed by Hannah & Lucy Barlow, Eliza Simmance, Rosina Brown and possibly Alice M Herapath. It has a hand painted background of brown with gold scrolls with four cartouches of hand painted donkeys and 3 of the 4 signed by Hannah Barlow.
It is approx. 10 3/8 inches tall, approx. 4 1/2 inches wide at the rim, and approx. 6 1/4 inches at the widest point.

This rare vase is in good used antique condition. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. There is flaking and loss of glaze and paint under the top rim of the vase. It goes a little more than halfway around the rim. See all photos for condition. Photos are a major part of the description. Additional photos can be supplied upon request. This vase is sold as found, no returns.

It is approx. 10 3/8 inches tall, approx. 4 1/2 inches wide at the rim, and approx. 6 1/4 inches at the widest point.

Shipping Info

  • Shipping will be calculated at checkout. We use USPS Priority Mail, UPS, and Fedex; tracked and insured.
  • Shipping and handling is calculated by weight. We do combine shipping for multiple items. In the event that the actual shipping and handling cost is less than paid, a refund or credit of the difference will be issued.
  • Please contact us if the shipping cost appears to be incorrect and we will manually calculate it for you.
  • We will carefully prepare your order for shipping using tissue paper, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts.
  • We do not have manufacturer’s original boxes or certificates for most of the items we sell. Our inventory consists of discontinued collectibles and antiques that we purchase from collectors. These items normally do not come to us in the manufactures original box. Requests for manufactures boxes will be fulfilled when possible.
  • We will always get your order out the door as quickly as possible, although during holidays or awseome web sales it may take us up to 5 business days to process and ship your order. Tracking information will be sent by email.
  • We ship with USPS and Fedex, whichever offers the best rates for your delivery and we pass the savings onto you. We will decide which carrier to use on all orders that receive free shipping.
  • Express shipping options are available from both carriers.
  • Some pieces are too large or fragile to ship by normal methods. We will work with you to determine the best delivery method, which may include but not limited to hand delivery, or delivery by freight company on a pallet.
  • We are required to collect 5.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to the State of Virginia.
  • INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Customers shipping orders to destinations outside the United States are responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and fees in addition to adhering to all applicable customs laws and restrictions associated with the import of products into that country from the United States. We encourage customers to check with the applicable Customs offices before placing an order to become familiar with any laws or fees.
