This is a RARE & EARLY Royal Doulton Figurine – Chelsea Pair Woman HN577

The Chelsea Pair is a very rare 18th century styled character figure made during a period where there was a resurgence of interest in what British potters produced in the early 1800s. Charles Vyse had a studio in Chelsea, which was one of the creative centers for this early pottery. The popularity of THE CHELSEA PAIR harks back to earlier times in English figure production by the great Chelsea factory. The Chelsea Pair Man HN579 and also the Woman HN577 reflect this renewed interest in 18th Century Chelsea china figures, both of which are a mixture of the traditional and modern – a true Royal Doulton interpretation of the past.

This figure is in very good used vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Please see all photos for condition. Photos taken with a high resolution camera under bright light.

Shipping Info

  • Shipping will be calculated at checkout. We use USPS Priority Mail, UPS, and Fedex; tracked and insured.
  • Shipping and handling is calculated by weight. We do combine shipping for multiple items. In the event that the actual shipping and handling cost is less than paid, a refund or credit of the difference will be issued.
  • Please contact us if the shipping cost appears to be incorrect and we will manually calculate it for you.
  • We will carefully prepare your order for shipping using tissue paper, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts.
  • We do not have manufacturer’s original boxes or certificates for most of the items we sell. Our inventory consists of discontinued collectibles and antiques that we purchase from collectors. These items normally do not come to us in the manufactures original box. Requests for manufactures boxes will be fulfilled when possible.
  • We will always get your order out the door as quickly as possible, although during holidays or awseome web sales it may take us up to 5 business days to process and ship your order. Tracking information will be sent by email.
  • We ship with USPS and Fedex, whichever offers the best rates for your delivery and we pass the savings onto you. We will decide which carrier to use on all orders that receive free shipping.
  • Express shipping options are available from both carriers.
  • Some pieces are too large or fragile to ship by normal methods. We will work with you to determine the best delivery method, which may include but not limited to hand delivery, or delivery by freight company on a pallet.
  • We are required to collect 5.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to the State of Virginia.
  • INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Customers shipping orders to destinations outside the United States are responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and fees in addition to adhering to all applicable customs laws and restrictions associated with the import of products into that country from the United States.
